Liberty’s Kitchen, a non-profit leader providing technical and transferable skills to youth between the ages of 16-24 who are out of work and out of school, is seeking volunteer leaders to join its board of directors.

 

Board members are actively involved in organizational governance, and are expected to attend quarterly board meetings, participate in at least one board committee, make a personal financial contribution, and serve as a connector by fostering relationships with funders and community partners. 

 

The board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with accounting, human resource, legal, and communications/PR, as well as those connected to the local workforce development agencies, foundations, cultural organizations, and communities of color.
